Celia Lerman | Bio
Celia Lerman is an Attorney and Industrial Property Agent. Having graduated with honors from the
University of Torcuato Di Tella with a degree in Law, she then went on to receive a Masters with
honors in Intellecutal Property at Universidad Austral.
Since 2010, Celia has been a guest lecturer at the University of Torcuato di Tella, where she also
teaches trademark and patent courses and is in charge of the Internet and Private International
Law Seminar.
In addition to her many accolades, she has published numerous articles on international property
rights on the internet in Argentina and abroad. She was also a visiting researcher at Columbia
University (New York, USA) and a scholar at Stanford University (California, USA).
She has been honored by the World Intellectual Property Organization and the World Trade
Organization to serve as a leading specialist (Geneva, 2012) and the United States Chamber of
Commerce in Argentina (2007).
Currently, Celia is an active member of various international professional organizations and has
elected positions in ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and INTA
(International Trademark Association).
